Have ordered these boxes for a few years now and have always been very pleased with them.

Hi... I use this for chocolate pyramids, really like the box . Wish it was less deeper so that the inserts which I buy with them fit better. As the chocolates move around because of the depth. Should be 1.5 inch deep
Thanks

Please confirm whether this product is eco friendly - made from recycled products and compostable?? I had arrived on your page after searching eco friendly chocolate boxes, however there isn't any information posted to confirm this.
1 Answer
Hi Shawna, These boxes are uncoated and no chemicals are used to change their natural organic appearance, but the 'natural' is more than skin deep. This Natural Brown paperboard uses around 25-30% less fiber than other box materials. Compared to other virgin fiber products, that's 25-30% fewer trees to produce the same amount of boxes. Against bleached paperboard, it is better for the environment because strong solvents are not used to bleach the pulp. Also, the fiber for these brown/brown boxes comes from SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) lumber - lumber collected and reforested utilizing environmentally friendly practices. Also, all our windows are made with plant based materials and not petroleum based. We are one of the few companies around that offer eco-friendly windows as well. Don’t get me wrong….we believe in using post recycled materials and our bosses have visited the mills where recycled material is processed. There is, unfortunately, a step necessary in the process where garbage and other matter is separated from what will be made into recycled paperboard. We cannot, in good conscience, make bakery boxes from this less-expensive material knowing food will come in contact with it and then go into someone's mouth. We appreciate the value of recycled board - just not for food contact. :)

does a doughnut fit in this box?
1 Answer
Hi Alejandra, There's a good chance a doughnut would fit perfectly in this box. We even have a windowed version - item 3068x3489. However, you should probably try some samples first just to be sure. You can find our Samples page by clicking on the 'Get Samples' link found on the left side of our webpage :)
