Customers asked us to carry cake boards. So now...we carry cake boards. After seeing the cake boards, customers asked if we could carry cake drums. So now, we carry cake drums too! And not just any cake drums. Connie spent a lot of time doing research, getting samples, and interviewing cake drum manufacturers in order to select a cake drum partner that makes a product that is as pretty as it is sturdy. I tore one of these apart to see that it is made up of 4 layers of rigid corrugated material. These are laminated together to supply the strength to hold your most demanding (read that - 'hefty') creations. The bottom of this cake drum is white. This round drum is enveloped in a grease-resistant coating that has an almost iridescent appearance under the right light. You can see in the photo above that this cake round falls into the category of our premium cake boards and premium cake drums. The moisture resistant shell around these sturdy corrugated layers wraps all the way around the edges. Not only does this make for a finished elegant presentation, it prevents crumbs and other matter from getting into the flutes of the cardboard. Pretty AND practical!
